Finlxo is a payment wallet, not a bank. Card processing is provided by Stripe. These terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
1. Acceptance
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form an agreement between you and Finlxo ("Finlxo", "we", "us") for the use of the Finlxo website, payment pages and wallet service (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, accessing a payment page or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organisation.
2. Eligibility
To open an account you must:
- be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract;
- reside in a country Finlxo supports at the time of application;
- provide accurate identity information and documents that match your legal name;
- not be subject to sanctions, nor use the Service from a restricted territory; and
- not have had a previous Finlxo account terminated for fraud or abuse.
Finlxo may refuse an application or limit the Service where it cannot satisfactorily complete verification or where the intended use falls outside these Terms.
3. Your account
You are responsible for the information on your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. Do not share your password, security answer or session with anyone. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has access to your account.
- One account per person. Accounts are personal and may not be sold or transferred.
- Your username forms part of your public payment link and may not impersonate another person or brand.
- You must keep your email address, phone number and address current so we can reach you.
- You are responsible for activity carried out with your credentials, except where the activity results from a failure on our side.
4. Verification
We verify identity before enabling withdrawals. You authorise us to collect and review identity documents, a selfie and the information you submit, and to keep records of the outcome as required for compliance and fraud prevention.
Verification is not a guarantee of any particular payment, and it does not transfer responsibility for a transaction to Finlxo. We may ask for additional information where a document is unclear or a payment appears unusual.
5. Receiving payments
Finlxo provides a payment page that allows a payer to make a card payment. Card processing is performed by Stripe under Stripe's terms. A payment is recorded as completed only after Finlxo confirms the successful status with Stripe on its server.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the amount, currency and note attached to a payment.
- A payment may be delayed, declined or reversed by the card issuer, Stripe or the card network.
- Chargebacks and disputes are handled through the card network and Stripe. Amounts subject to a reversal may be removed from your available balance.
- You must have a lawful basis for the payment and must not use the Service to collect funds for prohibited activities.
6. Balances
Your available balance for each currency is calculated from successful payments minus withdrawals that are pending, approved or completed. Rejected and failed withdrawals do not reduce the balance.
A balance is a record of funds held for the purpose of the Service. It is not a bank deposit, does not earn interest, and is not covered by any deposit-insurance scheme. Finlxo does not provide investment, savings or foreign-exchange services.
If a payment is refunded or reversed after it was credited, we may adjust the balance accordingly, including by creating a negative adjustment where the funds have already been withdrawn.
7. Withdrawals
Withdrawals are available after verification and are reviewed before they are sent. You must provide a destination address for the selected network. Crypto transfers are irreversible: once broadcast, a transfer cannot be recalled.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the destination address and network.
- Only available funds can be requested. A request that exceeds the available balance will be refused.
- We may request additional information before approving a payout, including proof of the destination address.
- A rejected request returns the amount to your available balance. A completed request records the transaction hash.
- Network fees are set by the blockchain, not by Finlxo, and are borne by the payout.
8. Fees
Finlxo does not charge a monthly account fee, a setup fee or a minimum-volume fee. The current fee summary is published on the pricing page. Third-party costs — including Stripe's card processing terms and blockchain network fees — are set by those providers and are separate from Finlxo's charges.
If Finlxo introduces a new charge of its own, we will update the pricing page and these Terms before the charge applies. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated charge.
9. Prohibited use
You must not use the Service to:
- receive or move funds from fraud, scams, theft or any other criminal activity;
- process payments for illegal goods or services, or for activities restricted by card-network rules;
- impersonate a person, business or financial institution;
- circumvent verification, velocity limits, block rules or access controls;
- upload malicious code, attempt to probe the Service, or access data that is not yours;
- use automated means to scrape, overload or reverse engineer the Service; or
- create multiple accounts to avoid limits or a suspension.
We may report suspected criminal activity to the relevant authorities and cooperate with lawful requests.
10. Suspension & closure
We may suspend or close an account where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached, where verification cannot be completed, where a payment is disputed or fraudulent, or where required by law. Where practical, we will tell you the reason and the next step.
You may ask us to close your account by writing from the email address on the account. Before closure, any available balance and pending payout will be reviewed. We may retain records required for legal, tax, accounting or fraud-prevention purposes after closure.
11. Intellectual property
The Finlxo name, logo, interface, code and written content are owned by Finlxo or used under licence. You may not copy, modify or distribute them without permission, except for the limited purpose of using the Service as intended. You retain ownership of the information and content you submit.
12. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties, including Stripe for card processing and hosting providers for infrastructure. Their terms and privacy practices apply to their part of the service. Finlxo is not responsible for a third party's independent acts or omissions, but we choose our providers deliberately and review security-relevant behaviour.
13. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or available in every country. We do not guarantee that a payment will be approved by a card issuer or that a blockchain transfer will confirm within a particular time.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Finlxo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, loss of profit, loss of business or loss of data. Our total liability arising from the Service is limited to the amount of the transaction giving rise to the claim, or the total fees you paid to Finlxo in the three months before the claim, whichever is greater. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Service, the law or the way we operate. The effective date at the top of this page will change when we do. Where a change materially affects your rights, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you before it applies. If you do not agree, you may stop using the Service and ask us to close your account.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the Finlxo entity that operates the Service, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before starting formal proceedings, please write to support@finlxo.com so we can try to resolve the issue directly. Nothing here prevents you from using a mandatory consumer-protection route available in your country.
16. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent to support@finlxo.com or through the contact form. Security reports should go to security@finlxo.com.
